How long did your stomach issues last?

by uphill7584, Sep 02, 2008 11:25AM
I am on day 21 coming off SUB 2mg...and althought my stomach is a bit better....we are not to the "solid" stage yet. I guess I am just curious if any others have had stomach issues that lasted this long? It is so frustrating....i think I would take back the restless legs for one day where I could get and not feel sick.

Doctor gave me Bentyl....doesn't seem to be working to much.

Sitck it out another month. Usually, with hard core, long term opiate use, the w.d sympotms can last almost 3 months. With methadone, sometimes 6 months.

Good luck....

hi!! I'm still not at the 'solid' stage either...18 days off hydros!!! My stomach doesn't hurt all the time, but definitely not regular yet. I've heard it can take a long time for some of us! hope you feel better soon :)

I am sorry to hear that you are still dealing with it too...althought it is a bit reassuring to know that some others have experienced the same. Good luck and take care.
