How long does withdrawel last from Percocet?
I'm a single mom of twins and had heart failure upon delivery of my twins after they were born I went through a divorce among many surgerys including tonsils out and tubal ligation then a hysterectomy.after surgery they give you pain killers each time. I was really experiencing back pain and still do on a daily basis so I went to a back specialist and they prescribed me Percocet 10 mg 4 a day,I dont know if they make my problems worse or better? They do give me back injections but now I realize I have an addication,Im out of my meds and withdraweling badly how long do they last?

Please don't worry about the withdrawal. The 3rd or 4th day is the worst for most people and you get slowly better day by day until by the 10th day you are more like your normal self. The symptoms are like a bad case of the flu. You'll feel sick and people are different in terms of what they experience--stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, body aches, chills and sweats, sleeplessness, and restlessness in your muscles especially at night when you are in bed. The main thing is that all this passes! And you know what is happening.
You can keep posting on this site; the people here will help you. Also read the health pages (upper right hand side of page) Some people use the Thomas Recipe. And you can post asking people what else has helped them.
Work with you doctor around pain relief and if he is not a help look for a pain management physician.

Keep reading in here, lots of valuable information and motivation to keep to it. There are so many people in here who suffered addiction for several years becuase of the pills. Please dont go there, you and your babies deserve better.
