How much and how many years of drinking lead to liver trouble?

by The Rock, Jan 23, 2000 12:00AM
I am a 27 year old male. I started drinking every weekend when I was 17. Through out the years it has progressed. I have had summers and holidays where I would drink almost everyday. I have a job, and drinking has never affected it. I was wondering how much drinking and for how many years does it take to develope liver problems. Thanks

That answer scares the bejeezus out of me! I do have one suggestion though — Milk Thistle (an herb, you can find it at any vitamin store) is supposed to have hepatic (liver) protective  qualities. I've taken it and it doesn't have any side effects — whether or not it really works remains to be seen. Good luck to you and your liver from me and mine.
