How should I ask a doctor for some anti-anxiety meds??? If someone can get back to me quickly...i go in an hour! thanks

Hey everyone! I hope everyone's morning is going good so far!!:)
So I have to go see this pain doctor, and get my script for when I'm away (tomorrow , i go to Vegas)...so my neighbour last nite, gave me 2 clonazapam's and I had the best sleep ever and i wasnt all irratable and ready to kill everyone!!:P  Ummm well of course the Lt's and b6 is working first and foremost but I slept sooooooooooooooooooooo good! No getting up at 530am, no surrrrrrrie.....855am for me!!! WUHOOOOOOOO!:P
So I dont know if anyone will respond this quickly but I go in the next hour.....shoulda posted last nite...so if anyone has a special way to talk to doctor that would be great....like i dont know what to say??? I need a seditative??? ya prob not!

What are you getting a script for?   When I got xanax (I'd never heard of it before that day) I just told my dr I couldn't sleep at night and was stressed during the day cuz I was caring for my terminally ill mom.  

Are you getting it to help with withdrawals?

I have anxiety and it causes panic attacks That is why my doctor gives me ativan for daytime and ambien for sleep.

Tell the doctor that you have problem sleeping and panic attacks during the day, they should give you xanax or klonipin(sp?).  Both should help you but could make you sleepy during the day if you take too much.  I find that xanax is exactly what I need for sleep and rls.

when i looked at the Recipe for withdrawls....i saw that u needed vallium or whatever...soooooooooooo ya im dealing with withdrawls from methadone right now. and i took 2 clonazapam's last nite and had the best sleep of my life.
