How to switch

I take 10 mg of methadone a day for pain management and want to switch to talwin nx but its a narcotic antagonist  Whats the best way to switch over?

Careful.   Talwin NX is nothing to mess around with.   It's a PARTIAL opiod antagonist, and effects the kappa opiod receptors.  

Drugs of this class can cause some very serious adverse affects.  I wouldn't change over without the close medical supervision of a doctor.

Is this not something your prescribing doctor is willing to help you with?
