Hrdcore or anyone---question about methodone

Hi guys...I have a question regarding methodone. I don't know much about it but I did hear that it is used as a pain killer, is this true? I have 3 pills--not sure what dosage they are and I was wondering when I stop my suboxone {hopefully by tomorrow} and my condition acts up {which it will in about 4-5 days} is it ok to take the methodone? I only have 3 and there is no chance of me getting more...I had a fight with my 'friend' and besides she is getting hot. This fight was my idea because I don't want this chick calling me and tempting me like she has done in the past. If you look up 'pusher' in the dictionary her pic is there..stupid I know!!

If you guys have any advice let me know..thanx.

i am on methadone and it does not store in your bone marrow that is false.the reason why user over dose is methadone has a very long half life meaning way after you stop feeling the drug it is still in your system so in that sense please be careful.methadone however is a wonderful drug because of its long life you need far less than normal.i hope this was helpful i am new to this forum and im enjoying reading all previous post.

THROW THEM OUT!!!! I am going thru the w/d from it and I was told its the worst of them out there because they get into your bone marrow and it take a long and hard road. Im going on my 4th week and I still don't feel well. I did get about 6 beautiful hrs of sleep last night for the first time in weeks. Keep Strong

methadose IS methadone.they hurt bad to kick like core says.very evil.chuck em!

I have been taking Methadone for years.  The Methadose is just another name for Methadone - I guess it is the "name brand" if I remember correctly, just every now and then the pharmacy will fill my RX with the Methadose.  The other poster is correct, Methadone is very hard to get off of, I do think it is preferrable to Oxycontin though as far as withdrawal symptoms go.  All I know is I would give anything if I had listened to my inner self when the doctor was wanting me to start them - I knew I would live to regret it and I have.  Good Luck.

Thanx for getting back to me. I went and got the pill and it said ' methadose 5' I don't know what that means...maybe they aren't methodone. Could you please let me know what you think. Thanx 'core.
