Lynn:
You're an inspiration to all the pregnant women out there that are taking, have taken, narcotic's or any other type of abusive substance, while pregnant, and been able to fight the good fight and come out clean on the other side... with a healthy newborn to boot!
All you pregnant women out there, reading this, let this be a happy reminder of what you can do for yourself and your unborn child, if YOU WANT IT.
Congratulations Lynn... you rock!

And she was born!!! Sunday and she is absolutely PERFECT and helathy!!! I've never in my entire life felt a love like I do for her! Just a word of advice for any pregnant addicts.. It's not worth the risks of losing or even worse hurting your baby if you use while pregnant. I got very lucky and I thank god everyday for showing me what I was doing wrong and helping me to correct my huge mistake. No drug is EVER worth your baby's life!!! But if that why your here then you have come to the right place. Cause thankfully the smart advice I got from the amazing people in this board helped me tremendously. I've never been happier in my life then when I get to look into her beautiful little face! And u get to take her home tomorrow(: I'm a happy mommy<3

Lynnalb congrats on being brave enough to do the right thing...I am very proud of you, even though I just stumbled upon this post. You had some amazing cheerleaders in here and some good advice....if you want to hop on over to the Pregnancy 18-34 forum and share the last bit of your pregnancy with the rest of us, there's a really good support system over there for women pregnant, going into labor, newborns, etc. I'm a Community Co-Leader over there.
I had to take pain meds while pregnant, both times. I even had to undergo surgery under full anesthesia at 34/35 wks with my daughter to remove a kidney stone that was causing my kidney to swell dangerously. She's a brilliant, sweet, beautiful (perfect, hehe) 2 1/2 year old now, and my son is also perfectly normal developmentally (and adorable!). So I think that your baby should be just fine, but you did the RIGHT THING...so proud of you!!!
Please keep us updated when your little one gets here!
