Husband on Methadone and Mixing with Anti Depressants

This is a plea for help, I have recently discovered that my husband was addicted to oxycontins...I knew something was amiss, our money was missing all the time, and my gut was screaming that something was wrong.  He broke his ankle last year and was perscribed percocets.  I never in a million years would have thought he was addicted, he is a bodybuilder by profession, so the thought of him consuming something that isnt healthy for him would never have crossed my mind, nor his families.
He is in his third week of treatment on methadone and my concern is he is also on paxil and lorezepham (generic version of Ativan) and athough I am protesting, he wont let me talk to his doctors... (although I am going to anyways), can the combination not be deadly???  His methadone is only at 20g right now, started at 15 mg.
Any help or first hand knowledge would be very helpful, many thanks to you all in advance.

ive been on methadone for 3 months and if a person is on a very low dose of ativan, xanax, klonapin it can be very helpful however in large doses very dangerous and also can get a person very high...on you seeing his doctors if hes going to a clinic they will not talk to you unless he gives permission once he has they will only discuss what he allows....good luck to you both

Just maake sure it is all in a perscription bottle.  This does not sound at all like an odd combination.  All of those seem to be common things to be on after withdrawl.  I was an exercise freeek at the biginning of this too.  The vics give yu energy.  I wnet cold turkey I'm on day 35 anad it was just until this weekend that my energy became somewhat normal.  This made me a little moody and I didn't really like to talk to even my family.  It's frusterating to not feel like keeping to your work out.  But I think his perscrptions are legit

I saw a documentary on HBO regarding benzos and methodone..combing the two and taken in higher doses can get you high and this was starting to become a problem. I am not saying in any way, shape or form that this is what your husband is doing...I only want to let you know that the potential for abuse is there. If you can consult with his doc (might be confidentiality problems) I think that would be a good idea...just so your husband knows what he is getting himself into. Good luck to you. E
