Hydro taper success

Good morning everyone. I am trying a taper off of 35 mg hydro 10/325 . I went to about 12 mg in a week. Last night no sleep tingling  arms. I would love to hear from those that have had a successful taper off these things and any encouragement at all would be great. Have a wonderful  day everyone

I'm dragging it out in hopes of not going into full blown wds. My body is very sensitive to even the smallest amount.  After one telling my doc I no longer need a prescription bc I can manage without it and to focus on my health and whatever leave I need to do that is necessary

Ah, the lovely Krissy said exactly what I was gonna say. One 7.5 is doing NOTHING. Dump it.

Think about why you are dragging this out. What's the aftercare you have planned?

In my opinion your taper wasn't done properly. I think you should throw away what you have and get through the w/d's. You're already having bad w/d symtoms so really Hun you're just dragging out your misery for no reason.

So yesterday I stuck at 7.5 mg of hydro. Felt kinda ok till night. Rls and hurting arms.  I'm determined to be done before I return to work. Fixing to try and make another reduction

Hang in there. Let us know when you jump and I believe we can get you through the detox and w/d. It doesn't have to be as bad as you think it will be if you reach out for help. Post, read, post some more. You deserve and need to be drug free and you can be. It is simply a decision. I made it, and I know you can. This was my first and only detox and I am now on Day 41.
But don't try to do this your way or on  your own. We all need help.
God Bless you. Always love. Charlie

I did but it was slow and steady. Over several months. You dropped way to fast. My taper meant minimal discomfort for me. Mainly a queasy stomach at times and some rls at night. Nothing a hot bath or shower couldn't fix.

So it depends on how much will power you have. It worked for me.

Hi ace. I think you have been here before so welcome back.

I don't know anyone who has had a successful taper. I'm sure they exist but most often peeps need someone else to dispense meds to them.

So right now you are basically taking only one pill or so a day? Honey, just jump! One pill is doing nothing for the wds and since your amount isn't that high, you can be DONE w/ this in a week (or so.)

Do you have aftercare lined up?
