Hi honey:
Everyone is different; yes, it's possible that the nausea you have felt is mild withdrawals, but I don't know. Your doctor is the best person to ask.
I agree; don't UP your dose. Trust on this...hydrocodone is an OPIATE, and it is so, so, so easy to take more than you should, and then you end up with a full blown addiction.
You're at a low dose now. When you stop, you will probably experience nausea, cramping, insomnia, restlessness...but it should only last 4-5 days.
Read through some of the posts here...our stories, our experiences. Taking opiates starts you on a risky, slippery slope. Tread lightly and good luck.
Hugs,
-Robin
I have heard stopping is just 3 days of nausea and flu-like symptoms? I feel like I have been dealing with that for over 3 weeks already so it shouldn't be too bad I hope ... knowing the nausea will stop at some point will be good.
Thanks - I will be talking to my doctor and see what she recommends.
Tapering draws things out...But that's something that you should ask your doctor. If your dose remains low, I'd suggest just stopping, but it's your choice.

Thanks for your reply. Will tapering make it easier to quit when the time comes?
You are on a fairly low dose. Don't up it. Your body has become slightly dependent on the meds. If you take more now it will only make quitting that much harder. Good luck.

HiKlynnk. Welcome to the forum.. Maybe you could speak with your Dr. about a nausea medication to take with your med ? This is the only thing i can think of that would help. Hope someone else will come along with more advice, I wish you speedy healing, lesa
