Hydrocodone Help

by gypsylady79, Mar 08, 2009 01:04PM
I've been on loratabs for about five years now. I have never been physically addicted to any substance until now. Over the past ten years i've struggled with drug abuse, but have always been able to lay it down. Thru the week I will snort three or four pills and then on the weekends im doing six or seven and day. For several months now i've wanted to quit but as many others scared of the wds, and the pain of my nose healing. I found this site last night and realized the key to quitting wld first be to stop snorting, then I cld taper myself off. Last night I used non medicated saline nose spray to help clear my sinuses, and to help with the dryness. I have not snorted anything today I have only taken. I also threw my plate, and tooters away. It's a start!!! Does anyone have any suggestions on tapering or know anything that will help with the nose pain?

hi, gypsylady , you are very welcome to the forum.

i would think that the saline spray will help your nose healing and meanwhile you could read some old posts to know more about addiction and ct or have a look at the health pages ( thomas recipe and amino acids protocol ) where you can find some advices and take what suits you best.
we are here to help so post your questions and somebody will answer them for sure.

most of all, be positive that it can be done so you can do it, ok? :)

to me it was easier ct than tapering...
