Hydrocodone withdrawl

It has been one week since I took my last pill and physically I feel fine now, but mentally I am so not fine. How long till I feel myself again? I took a variety of pills over the past 3 months or so, prescription pain meds.

oh love I hate to say it. and others may not agree with me and they may correct me or may not I would not take trammadol it is highly addcitive as well and can sometimes you are so far into your journey that you dont wanna take any back steps. I know several friends who have been hooked on em and they say it worse than getten off regular opiates because it has some kinda depression thing in them. I just toughed it out and took nothing for sleep or anything it was hard but I made it. and you can to more exp members will see this and have more answers on the trammadol but in my opinion I would not take em. I personally think its a mistake but I was so scared of taking anything cause I know how I'm once I start I wont stop. I hope this helps some

congrats on yours to what you have accomplished is no easy task. but it is worth it I had my doubts when I first started my journey but when the veil lifted it was amazing, and hun you are so close to being. the first week for me was pure hell, so as far as you have come is amazing and wonderful and I'm proud of you. getting hooked on the stuff is easy getten off em not so easy. but I just wanted you to know you are not alone in this we are here for you, and if you wanna scream let it rip, if you wanna cry let it pour, one of our members on here posted about a telemarketer calling the house and it was a recording and they just screamed in the phone and felt so much better,. the emotional part can sometimes be worse than the physical part. one of the things that I found to be oh so helpful was when my car was working I would get in it and drive and listen to music as loud as I wanted and cry or sing at the top of my lungs just to get it out. keep fighting hun you are so close to the prize and congrats on your time you are doing amazing you really are. I'm here anytime you need to vent I'm all ears. solost.

hello 3loves1, after my first week of being clean and the physical was some better the emotional kicked in and I would cry over the smallest things or gbet so mad that I couldnt stand it. I wanted to scream cry rant rave the whole nine yards, but then my third week it got better it was do able you are almost there it takes time for our bodies to adjust to being clean. I'm sixty two days into this and feel great now. I diddnt take anything besides vitamins and keept hydrated but I walked my legs off even when they were so heavy that I felt like they were a block behind me. it helped with the emotional as well as the physical. and as the rest have said for each person it is diff. but I can tell you it will pass and you will be hugging trees.

It really depends on the person, but I can tell you from my experience that it took about 3 weeks before the mental/emotional symptoms subsided.  What are you exact symptoms?  There are many supplements, vitamins and over the counter remedies to help with what you are experiencing.  Congrats on making it through the physical withdrawal, so many of my friends cave during that period. You are well on your way to getting your life back.  Keep posting, we are all here for you.
