I ACTUALLY FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!!!

I am keeping soooo busy, as to not burden my mind with extra thoghts of pills.  I am in bad pain, but I feel clear headed for the first time in forever.

I am not even close to being ok, I know, but it sure feels good to go to work and be proud of that.

Also am feeling much guilt over responsibilities neglected.  Feeling like I need to fix everything at once that I have let go for so long.

Going to work now.  I think of my friends here and carry you with me.  This forum was the catalist for my beginning a new path in my life.  My soul longs to be free.  I can almost taste it.

Peace

I am so glad to hear that. I have been wondering about you because it is so wierd but since I have been reading this forum, everytime I had a question or wanted to say what I was feeling, you would post my exact question or thought......and right before I signed on I was thinking to myself that I would love to fix everything at once and to remind myself to be patient...Anyways thank you for all of your posts they really helped me to stick to my taper.

Fixing things takes time.  However, once you are on the right path, things seem to fall into place and that empowers you to continue.  Once you start doing the right thing, and you see how other people perceive you, it is an incentive to keep up the good work.  I am so proud of the accomplishments I have made in the three years that I have been drug-free.  Granted, I enjoy a drink at night, however, I am off of the crystal meth that consumed my life for 10+ years and that is great.  Once I got clean, everything fell into place and I saw how simple and easily maintained life really was.  Just keep moving forward and DO NOT LOOK BACK!!!!
