I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID IT!

I can't believe I actually did it. . .went to the dr. this morning for my knee problem (some of you may have saw my earlier post).  Well, after x-rays and examination (sprain), the first thing out of his mouth was, "do you need something for pain?" I at first hesitated. . .then said that because of my history (left it at that) I would only take an Rx. for motrin 800.  I can't believe I had the strength to refuse. . .my mood has lifted because I was able to say no (this is day 7).
