by OxyDout, Aug 23, 2002 12:00AM
Hey guys, I have a question, my dealer just got clean, he has been clean for 10 days now, he said he feels great, but for some reason his vision is blury and his eye hurts, anyone have any answers for this, and if so how long might it last???? I know this might sound weird because of the fact that he is a dealer, but he really is A GOOD KID, and hes trying to get his **** together, so I want to help him before he starts to go back to drugs, so if you have any answers I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Hey... About your Dealer..

What was he on? If it was a lot of Opiates, the Eye hurting/bluriness can be caused by increased pressure after stopage of the drugs. He needs to check his blood pressure and go to an opthamologist right away!

good luck.

he was taking up to 7 80mg oxys a day, when he detoxed, he used the clonodine patch, he was getting light headed etc. I told him to take it off, I told him his blood pressure was too low, he feels better but now its his eye.  Ok, so what could happen and what does he have to do........ or I guess my question is, what should I say to him ........do I just tell him to go to the doctor......  and what happens if there is too much pressure.??

Just tell him to see the eye-doctor. I did a little damage to my eyes shen I was detoxing from booze. My blood pressure shot WAY up, and a couple of the little vessles in my eyes burst, causing some blurryness, but my doc said, if I hadn't come in and got it treated, I could have gone blind in at least ONE of my eyes. They gave me some blood pressure lowering meds. I only had to take them for a couple months. I'm OK now, but one of my doctors wanted me to come in and get LASER surgery to repair the vessel damage, but I got a second opinion, and it's too soon for that now!

ok, Ill tell him that, but I don't know, if anything his blood pressure is too low, I think?? I don't know, I will see how he is today........... Anyway, SQL, datamanagement,storage..... not the most exciting but its a great industry to be in..... Visual.net? whats the reasoning in the change of name, is it actually different in terms of tags etc..... or some kind of company merging/$$ deal.............

Hi Ralphie , My doc put me on Vistril for my anxiety from withdraw, dont know how well it is gonna help, do you think it would be a wise idea to take Klonopin to help me sleep, and will it help with withdraw?

Hi, I was on meth for about 2 years on and off but the last 6 months it was daily I mean 24 seven. I quit meth cold turkey  about 2 months ago. But, I have been in and out of the emergency  room for about 1 month because I started to get panic attacks. I have never felt anything like this and in various times I thought that I was going to loose it. I was feeling alot of pressure on my chest, nervous, and short of breathe. I thought that I was going to die. Can anyone tell me if I am going through withdrawls. My Doctor first put me on xanax and now she change my medicine to activan. I stop taking them as of yesterday. I think that I can
do it on my own but I would like to know if I will ever get back to normal again without these panic attacks. I only get them in the night when I go to bed. I start getting all these symptoms in my body that lead me to beleive I am having a heart attack. Last night I fell asleep on my own and when I started to feel an attack I just kept thinking that nothing was wrong took long breaths and went back to sleep. I did wake up a couple of times suddenly as if I forgot to breath but then I was fine. I can say it was a bit scary. Are they withdrawls? Can anyone can tell me how long do they usually last. Will I ever get back to normal? Help!!!!     mzbella
