I am a moron

I am prescribed 8 , 7.5 percocet per day. I was inching up, and kept running out about a week or 10 days  early. , so I was averaging about 15 per day I think. Anyway, I ran out (suprise!) and stopped for 4 days. I was still taking 1 ms contin 3 times a day (but I can take them or leave them, they do NOTHING for m). Well, when I got my rx filled, I have decided to take ONLY as prescribed, then later think of tapering. So, I do my 8  a day as prescribed. I figured I would be fine, as I was out for 4 days. weel, I have no energy, I am peeing like I have never peed I have no buzz from these pills, and I have a funny taste in my mouth. This si probably from the dosgae cut? Any ideas appreciated!

You are not a moron.  Well if you are so are the rest of us!  I took percocets and darvocets and all of the peeing is your bodies way of ridding toxins.  Do you think (even though you say they do nothing) you could just use the MS Contin to go through the w/d from percocets and then after that's over wean from them?

hi there, i think you call that addiction. lol  you are the right place if you really want to quit.  the w/ds will last wek if you cold turkey.  if you taper you will be in milder w/ds but for a much longer period of time.  you can do this, its not easy but doable.

as prescribed for a whiole, I ama moron, as I dod not realize that I cut my dose literally in half all at once.  It never occured to me. I have been on them for a while due to chronic pain. The ms contin I only take when I HAVE to to walk. I absolutely HATE it. UGH What is this fuuny taste in my mouth? I have about brushed teh enamel off my teeth.
