Great advice above and I would follow all of it.
Also- panic attacks are caused by negative thought patterns and catastrophizing which leads to shallow breathing which leads to not enough oxygen getting to the brain. Exercise is awesome because we HAVE to breathe deeply. But- if it's stormy, and you're stuck try this. Breathe in through your nose for 8 counts, hold it for two, then breathe out through your nose for 10. Repeat this until your heart rate and brain SLOW down.
You're going to be okay. I promise.
And yes, I'd get to some aftercare asap okay?
You need and deserve some support.

Here's some natural remedies for you. Personally I like the Kava in tea form. Hang in there man.
The herb Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis) is used as a sedative on the nervous system and a relaxant for the muscles (Reader's Digest, 2009, Pp128). It also helps with headaches, which can sometimes be a result of an anxiety attack. According to Mosby's the recommended dosage of Valerian extract is 400-900mg, before bedtime (2010, Pp592). It is recommended that Valerian not take with MAOIs.
The herb Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis L.) is used as a sedative and it has mood-enhancing abilities(Reader's Digest, 2009, Pp73). The leaves are the part of the plant that is used and can come in an extract. According to Mosby's the recommended dosage is 80mg of Lemon Balm extract combinewith120mg Valerian root extract, tid (three times a day) (2010, Pp390).
The herb Kava (Piper methysticum) has a sedative and it is an anxiolytic (Skidmore-Roth, 2010, Pp.369). Anxiolytic is defined, by the Mirriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary, as a drug that relieves anxiety. It acts directly on the limbic system, which is the parts of the brain that are concerned with emotion and motivation. According to Mosby's the recommended dosage of Kava extract is 45-70mg tid (2010, Pp370). Take it with a meal for increased absorption. It is also recommended that it not be given to children under 12 (Skidmore-Roth, 2010, Pp370).
The mineral Magnesium works as a muscle relaxant, which can be helpful to someone suffering from anxiety issues. The stress of anxiety can take it's toll on the shoulder muscles and the neck muscles. According to the Encyclopedia of Nutritional Supplements the recommended daily intake of Magnesium is 280mg (Murray, 1996, Pp161).
Although all of the B vitamins can aid in the calming of anxiety issues, vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) seems to be the most important because it helps to form chemical transmitters in the nervous system (Murray, 1996, Pp100). According to the Encyclopedia of Nutritional Supplements the recommended daily intake of vitamin B6 is 2mg (Murray, 1996, Pp101).
yea I was like that for 4 months I went crazy. I fought aftercare I was scared and didnt wanna go
but I did and it was hard at first
I had to force myself to go
and now that I have been around a minute and I do what they suggest
my anxiety is less
I am learning that I had an issue that caused me to use
and I didnt know how to feel or deal with life
I still struggle but I do what I am told and I dont question and for me it works
NA has saved my life and I suggest it to anyone
I tried mental hospitals and therapy and for some they work
but for me this is all that works and I wont fix something thats not broken
Im not one of the usual pushers of aftercare, but sounds like you might benefit from going to an NA meeting or three...
If u don't mind me askin where in fl u at? Its stormin bad here too. Lol makes my knee(old cheerleading injury)hurt.
I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I second the exercise suggestion. I too have bouts with anxiety and hyperactivity. When I get like this it really helps to go for a very long walk and basically exhaust myself. Staying busy also helps, whether it's cleaning your house, watching a funny movie, or listening to music. Just try to redirect yourself and know that this is temporary. Valerian Root is a natural calming agent that helps many with anxiety and sleep issues. Might be worth trying if this keeps up. You are doing great! Keep fighting and don't give in!
A couple of times when I was having a hard time getting bad thoughts out of my head I just went for a serious hike.
Exercise is a great way to get your head and body feeling better.
Also just getting out of the house will change how you're thinking.
Yes it should go away. Try taking some Magnesium and some Ds and Calcium or even get some Calm teas or Calm powder. Try to take a small walk and then maybe try to read..You have to try to calm your self down a bit.
Maybe go and soak in the tub. Eat a bit of Turkey and drink some warm milk. I am so sorry and I know how it felt when mine was on the moon for almost a month back in 2012. Also do not go around any Stress or Drama right now.
Praying for you!
