I am lost..

by joelover143, Aug 12, 2008 01:10AM
i have been on percocets and other various pain killers for about a year and a half. i recently had a major surgery and received an ample amount of pain killers frequently. when i dont take them i have symptoms of pain through out my body, sleeplessness, anxiety, stomache cramps, diharreaha, cold sweats and and extreme irritability. i have a sister who is extremely addicted also, and i see how this has ruined her life. i dont want to  follow in her path. before i had a medical reason to be on pills, but now i dont want to be on them anymore. my insurance is not very good, so i cant go to a 30 day treatment center, but i need help. what should i do? where should i start??

Welcome joe...50 is not bad..I know it seems that way..What were you taking before 50mg??  If you can taper , then you are very strong, and you may be strong..Is there anyone that can hold them for you, and give you only what you need not to go into w/d??
I was taking 15 or more 10mg a day, and almost a yr clean...We are here to help..
look at he health pages on the right hand side., and thomas recepie....
Can you take time off of work?
