BTW....it is hard, but can be done! My opinion! I'd do it again like this if i had to!
U have definately come to the right place b / c i wouldn't be on day 11 without this forum. Just a thought, if possible, don't do it at the same time so you can help each other at seperate times? I found that i needed alot of help (still do) but to have someone FORCING u to do what u need to do does help, at least for me.
Working mom, hi and welcome to the forum! You came to a great decision and you are certainly in the right place. There are so many moms here battling this problem. For me this place has been a Godsend. I think the support I received here is how I got through . The beginning is rough but the payoff is HUGE. Having love and support is great so glad you have someone at home to do this with (sorry though that this happened to you both). Let us know what you need or just vent. Best of luck on this journey.
Congratulations on your decision to give up the oxy! There are inpatient detox programs that can help you if you are coming off high doses and need help with the withdrawal symptoms. There is good support here for you as well. I am on my 5th day without percocet and finally feeling better and more active, but it's not over yet. Just remember that it is a process and you need all the help you can find thru this.
WELCOME to the forum and CONGRATULATIONS on the decision to get your freedom back!! It's not easy but it's worth it!! Just brace yourself for the "flu" and ride it out.. Often the fear of withdrawal is worse than the actual experience.. Stick close and we will walk with you every step of the way..
