I don't understand

Question

I can't figure out why a forum that is offering support to people with addictions, advertises some of the very things that people are trying to get away from. Lunesta and Ambien were my drug of choice for 2 years and it has gotten so hard to come on this site and see that butterly and then the advertisement for it. Does anyone else find that strange, or is it just me? I know they have to have financial support to keep the site going, but couldn't they advertise that particular drug on a sleep disorder site rather than addiction site?

Those are also meds that can be addictive but help get over the w/d symptoms and if you have the right frame of mind then you take them long while your symptoms last. The doctor is there also to help weight the potential problem versus the medical condition (that's if it's not recreational use). Ambiem previously only used to be prescribed in 7 -10 day increments and then 30 day now you can stay on it permanently. For example a patient that has Fibromyalgia...the best remedy would be to get a good night's rest and be as active as you can. Who can get a good night's rest while you in pain. Luckily you don't have to take a narcotic you may have to take 1 pill before bed for the rest of your life. Everyone is just differenct and that is also when the whole addictive personality come into play. Hope you are doing well with you addiction. Lady you can contact med help and let them know how you feel about it .They will be able to tell you whether there is something they can do about it or not .

All i see now is diet stuff.  Are they trying to tell me i am a fat a$$!!!!

Some of it is not med help.its yahoo. Also we  have to remember that med help has over a 100 different forums for most people a advertisment for a sleep aid would not be a problem. There have been a few advertisements that I have alerted med help to and they have done everything they can to block them on our forum.
