I have to confess.

I have to confess that I'm on day 4 not day 5 . I lied to my wife and took pills that first morning. That's one of the worst things about addiction. All the lies.I really am sorry and Pray that I haven't hurt anyone Please forgive me. Steve

I just read your journal and commented. The guilt we carry sometimes makes it harder to stay clean, well it did for me. The fact you admitted this, is a big step. Most of us lied in active use, but we change when clean. You stay strong and do whatever it takes to keep going now and congrats on those 4 days again. Keep posting, it helps so much. Congrats again:) If you have any access to pills, it's best to get rid of them, not easy but very important in our recovery. Good luck

Congrats on day 4!!!  You havent hurt any of us.  We understand the lies that come with addiction.  You have to forgive yourself first and move forward.....Hang in there!!!       sara
