I know you guys have an answer for this!

How can I tell if my husband is taking Lorcet
again. He has been without for 5 days. (his choice) It will be hard for me to tell I'm so used to him and his actions on the pills. This has been going on for 2 years I can't even remember him and how he was before. Will he just be in a great mood if he is using or what??!!? Thanks

If he is in a good mood after 5 days of c/t, he is either an enigma or using. Check his eyes to see if they are pin points. Best of luck!

after being without them he will probably be in a awful mood if he takes them again.. most people who come back after using say how terrible guilty and sick they feel after a relapse. So I would look for a variety of behavior.. paranoia, guilt.. etc

Look to see if he is still having any physical withdrawal symptoms - i.e. stomach problems, achiness, not able to sleep or eat.

Maybe give him a big hug and tell him that you love him.  Ask him if there is anything that you can do for him.

That is a good idea.  If he has done anything - hopefully it will come pouring out of him.  Then he can start to get sober again.

When I used to run out for 2-4 days and finally got my refill, I would feel a calmness come over me after taking my dose. I would be in a fairly good mood and my appetite would come back with a vegenance.
