I need some advice

Hi
This is the first time I'm posting and I need some advice. My friend's husband does cocaine about every 2 or 3 months.  When he was clean for 2 months she decided to get pregnant. Don't ask me why.  She had her baby about 3 months ago but the problem is he still does cocaine and smokes like crazy when he does drugs.  He does his drugs in his truck and smokes in there as well. My question is even though he does drugs and smokes in his car is it still harmful to the baby? I'm really scared for the baby, he refuses to get help and she doesn't want to leave him.

You are a good friend.  It's so dangerous just as second hand smoke is to adults and children so is second hand smoke!!!!  It's  on his clothes, on his body, in his hair.  If the baby rides in this truck the baby gets the 2nd hand effects of whatever he is smoking. Not to mention that this helpless baby has a father that is a cocaine addict. He is a binge user.  He many not be using all the time but he is using.  Please urge your friend and go with her to an Alanon Meeting.  It's for the people who live with drug abusers.  It will help her see what she is allowing in her life and her child's life.  This is not the life she needs and it's unfair of her to bring a child in to this world and expect this child to begin life this way.  All the best to you and you are a good friend.

She never makes her baby ride with him in the truck.  He pretty much uses it for work and errands.  She has her own car and always takes the baby with her.  Apparently she makes him shower and airs out the house after his binges.  I'm not defending her by saying all this, obviously I know it's wrong and so does she. The reason I posted yesterday is because he was throwing up all night, I'm guessing it's cause he had too much.
