I want a vicodin today

Im craving that euphoric calm today..  I wont do it... day by day right?  I've cut all ties, and will not dip into my bank acct.   Saying my prayers.

I too miss that feeling sometimes...Life is filled with ups and downs; for me it is the "average" day that can offer the biggest challenge. So, I do things to make the day less average. And when the craving has passed, and I haven't given in, I feel a kind of euphoria. You'll get through this. You're being honest with yourself and that's important. Good job.

The craving has passed... I do feel a sense of giddiness now.... like my own high, all my own, not one the vics gave me... I took my B12 complex vitamins, and my multi vitamin...feeling pretty good now.  Thank u.

I can relate. The cravings come and go. I just don't act on them. It's my addict wanting a fix. I don't have to listen. I do what you do...Pray. It works for me.
When i don't feed my addiction, it's power isn't so strong. The longer i stay clean, the more I am able to quiet the cravings. Keep it up!
