I'm helping my sister get off of drugs

I'm gonna help my little sister get off of loracets at home, and I need to know what her withdrawl (withdrawal) symptoms are gonna be. And what I need to do to help her get through this.

she's been on them a couple of years, and takes about 10 a day.

flu like symptoms for 4 to 5 days...achey (achy), hot cold flashes, maybe bathroom issues, emotions will run high so keep everything calm.  i was taking about the same for 3 years plus and i did it cold turkey...it s not easy but very well worth it to be out of the addiction.  read the health pages on this forum and read the thomas recipe.  hot baths and showers help also.  tell her she can do it...good luck to you...maria

unfortunatly,yes she will have all of the issues that merrymaria said.she should also have something to help her sleep as this could be a problem for about a month,and something for anxiety,clonodine works great for the  heart pounding.at the bottom of this page on the right click on the thomas recipe,it has alot of info. on nutrition while detoxing.
