I had a hard time staying warm also. If I remember correctly it was day 5 or 6 when it began, people in the neighborhood were wearing shorts, I was wearing a down coat!

Hang in there and keep posting!

It is different for everyone, you should be good to go in a few days.
Good Luck!!

If you can tolerate hot chocolate, tea, coffee, any hot (warm) liquid. I kept my heating pad going alot during detox.  We know it is rough, this will get better in time, and I hope it is soon for you. :)  These opiates die tough and you have to be tougher.  Hope tomorrow is better for you!!! Keep posting.

everyone is different..for me day 1 was the worst...just hang in there..dont think ahead..staying clean today if the focus..then tomorrow is another day...meetings/aftercare will help u make it thru this..even if u dont feel well try to attend a meeting and get some exercise to release endorphins...i would wrap myself in blankets because often it is a hot cold thing at night..take blankets off and on as needed..many sleep better with the house very cold as it slows ur metabolism down...then bundle up..and hang tight..u r very close..a positive attitude will help u thru this..a negative attitude/expecting the worst..can actually make u actually feel the worst..stay busy..get ur rest..read the halth pages and learn..lots of great info there...nite

totally normal! that was one of the worst WD symptoms for me- i also had that severe deep cold that came from my bones! Just keep bundled up as much as possible and hang in there, it will pass!!!

MILESTONE..sweeter than sugar and more valuable than gold. i slept. naturally for about 4 hours. the only other thing i take now is tylenol-pm. i woke up-im not shaky and so far dont feel weird. today is day 3. this is one of the hardest things ive had to do. but i feel i can do it and so far today see the light at the end of the tunnel. but im going to tread cautiously.
