In need of some advice

I have anxiety, and Im prescribed clonazepam, but Im worried about taking it again, the last time i took it, it caused me to be get very agitated very easily,I was also taking this prn and the most I was taking at one time was half of a .5 pill twice daily if I needed it,I used this pill to help me stop drinking it helped and i did stop drinking for 9 months then somthing happened and i started drinking again to deal with stress and now Im thinking of taking this stuff again to help quit drinking..
What do you all think is this stuff safer than the beer for stress?

Well my father had a rupterd anurism and my step daughter got pregnant and i was the only one he had that could make the decisions for him and he was going down hill fast plus im a full time student graduating in may  and with 4 kids and all that i lost control.
