Ins after Subutex

Is it true that if your insurance covered Subutex or Suboxone that yo ucan never get pain medication again trough them?
I have 2 surgeries coming up within the next 6 months an this wold be insne to me..

hmmm dunno about that one?  Why would you want to? and insurances aren't doctors and have no right to do that.  I doubt that about the insurances.

I assumed that my insurance would flag my file and wouldn't cover both my suboxone script and any painkiller script.  But that is just my assumption, I could be totally wrong.

Working for an insurance company I do know that if you're on Sub, your file is flagged and they may call the doc writing the narcotic rx to be sure that they know about the Suboxone.  As long as all the docs involved are in the loop, you will be fine.  You just want to be sure to tell the docs writing for postop pain meds that you've been addicted and have taken Suboxone.  That will help avoid any issues for you - good luck toyou.
