Is IT cortisol or Adrenaline

Here a question for anyone coming off opiates.  Is it cortisol or adrenaline that makes the body jumpy, twitchy, anxiety ridden, shoulers tensing. headaches. I am 65 days out and still having the tension in the shoulders and neck area, even after cleaning house for 8 hours today.  You would think a body would just be ready for sleep. But no,no,no!!! Just wanted to know the answer  to this.  Had to whine. cause like everyone else, it sure aint so to speak no picnic is it?

Good question.  I don't think its either, i think its the lack of our brains producing dopamine and seratonin.  those are the two chemicals our brains produce to relax us and help us sleep.  That's my understanding at least.  No it's not a picnic!  And i know the feeling and i feel like the energizer bunny on crack between being exhausted and going going going!  I read that restoring our brains to healthy is really just a matter of time as the brain is the last thing to return to normal, so relax and try to enjoy being overproductive, because sooner or later we're going to return to normal and cleaning is going to take everything we have to get motivated to do it!!!  Great job on 65 days, what an accomplishment!!!
