Is Vicodin withdrawal causing derealization?

I was taking 4-6 vicodin a day for about 5-6 months, I have never really had a issue with being hooked. I could take them for a few weeks then quit and no big deal. I stop taking them  13 days ago and really did not have any withdrawal syptoms (symptoms) as others describe but the past 3-4 days I've been feeling like in a derealization state of mind where I question if my brain is working properly because sometimes I stare at things like my kids or familiar things and I just feel weird. Is this part of anxiety causing derealization because my brain is looking for the opiates? I've also had a hard time sleeping the past 5 days as well, had an panic attack in the middle of the night one night. It is just wierd because the first week or so I had no issues then all of a sudden this mental issue occured. Just wondering if anyone has had this or knows much about it. Oh and I'm not taking those things ever again. Thanks to all for your suggestions and help. God Bless!

Seems like that you are experiencing some with drawls more mental than physical with drawls can creep up differently and eberybodys different I would suggest some vitamins and exercise and c if the fog dosent clear what ever u do dnt go back to the pills that would be a mistake u may have gotten out lucky.
