Is anyone else freeeeeezing?!

Ok, I know its Winter so yes its cold but, has anyone else noticed how much more your body is to the temperature?! I've always been a bit of a thick girl & I'm Italian so I'm naturally hot blooded :) so the Winter has never really been a big issue for me. I mean don't get me wrong I get cold but the past couple days I've really been "feeling" the cold weather! Ok, ok, so I live in Cali & no we don't have snow, infact I think its about 50 degrees out right now but that is COLD for us!! Its like the only time I've felt warm lately is bcuz of those awesome little hot flashes I get at night (not really awesome just trying to laugh a lil) :) Other than that I've been freeeeezing!! Just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience? Hope everyone is well today! I'll say it again just cuz it feels great.. Day 10!!!

Hi Girl,

Congrats on your 10 days!  Way to go.  Yes, being cold is a very normal symptom from opiate withdrawal.  I detoxed in June and was sitting with blankets on in the house and a heater in my office at work for probably a month following the initial withdrawal.  I don't know why this happens, but it can even get kind of comical.  Don't worry about it, you will soon get back to normal, it will just go away on it's own as quickly as it came on.  Use blankets or sit in front of a nice fire.  You should start to feel better in a couple of weeks.  Take Care

  I've been cranking up the heat in the woodburner and driving my wife nuts!  Usually I'm the hot one and she is cold.  I swear we are never on the same page!  Oh well.

Yes, the freezing is common.
It's not even THAT cold here, but my flesh feels like ICE.

Congrats on 10 Hydro!!!!!!! It will get better.... 2 weeks for me today, and I can say I feel completely different than I did on day 10!!!!

I too am hot blooded, even have a fan in my house in winter.  But now that I am down to almost nothing I am also freezing.  Very weird for me!

Glad to know I'm not the only one!! Fog- all I've been doing the past 3 days is eating, eating, EATING!!! Its getting a lil crazy!! :) I made a big pot of homemade chicken soup yesterday so I've had more than a couple bowls of that!! I swear our fireplace needs a break cuz we've been using it so much!! I feel great other than beoing so cold!! :) Getting ready to make some dinner with lots & lots of brocolli! Food just tastes so much better these days!! I love it! I'm on day 8 and the coldness is gone but I can relate to the food!  Everything taste so good and I'm hungry it seems every couple hours!  It's awesome isn't it?!  I really missed this me!

Its not really a chill or anything to do with the wd's, its like being cold cuz its actually cold! The Norco's always made me hot... Summertime was the worst! Its like the pills kept my body temp high all the time so I never felt cold. Well without the pills I def know its Winter time!! Brrrrr!! I like it! :)

I know what you are saying.  I really can feel the cold now.  Last week when it was -40 below that is exactly what my body felt!!!
