To anyone who is trying to quit c/t, I dont need to tell you fatigue is a major problem. There is a product you can find at convenient stores called .357 magnum. This is simply a caffine pill that seems to help some. I take two a couple of times a day AND it feeds that craving to take something. Also, try to get hold of motrin 800mg for joint aches. The last thing that is difficult is the emotional rollercoaster you may go on (depression). PLEASE find someone close to you that you can TALK to, what a difference that makes, feeling alone in this sucks, but being here online is a great way to start. Best of luck to each of you and if you feel a need to talk, I willing to get you my email/phone number. I am definitlely not a professional, just a guy that knows what it's like

I'm actually good... just wasted all morning doing what I wanted to do... rather than what I should have been doing... so now I'm up trying to make up for what I didn't do this morning.

Make sense?  LOL  Eating like a starving dunno what...

Sleep still is hard at times... I should sleep tonight I'm tired enough...

How come yer still up?

Lordy... when I was detoxing .. last thing in the world I would have needed or wanted would have been caffiene... my axiety levels were over the top.

But you are right about the "getting lonely" part... I know it's rough when you have no one who will listen about this problem.   I was only able to tell certain people after I was clean... I would never admit to anyone that I was abusing pain killers.

Thanks for the post

Good...let your dreams haunt you a little, this just means that your fear and anxiety are real, the junk is not getting the better of you. If your feelings and emotions are real, reality is coming back!!!!

I guess this too shall pass, but it's the worst part of this whole deal for me.

I need to sleep...I am totally useless w/o sleep.  Now that I'm off the Xanax entirely... I'm having a hard time w/this issue.

But nothing works...Lunesta (tried that it sucks) did nothing at all... I don't drink... not sure it would help though...so I'm wide awake.... need to be up @ 5:30.. it's almost 12:30.

I just figured it would take a bit before my body would just get back into it's cycle... or I'll get exhausted enough to just start sleeping on my own again.

Do you dream and get nightmares?   Or you just don't sleep?

BUT look at what you accomplished.

You quit Methadone C/T..... how many people can say they did it on their own.

Even your clinic is still calling you.  I'll tell you one thing... if it were me they were calling I'd have an attorney up their damned *ss so freaking fast.  I really am CONVINCED NOW... they are just money making organizations like anything else.   I'm hearing nightmare stories about Methadone... not only from here... but since I've been here I've been asking a lot of people a lot of questions.

You and OrangeFyre are now two people who really did it.. but she wasn't in a clinic.  I'm totally in awe.  I know one guy has been in a Meth clinic for more than 20 years.. now that's just ridiculous.  I thought that after a certain amount of time... they would just automatically just wean you down.  Like the purpose of the Meth was to get off the Meth ASAP... but it's not like that

We've all done things we should remember, and we want to forget we did.

I keep saying that guilt is a wasted emotion because we just can't go back... but we can go foward looking into the future and do whatever we need to do to make things right.

I think I'm going to at least try to fall asleep.

Good night .... and God Bless... and Take Care of YOU

Yeah, it's hard to notice when we are 'high' that we are lonely then TOO. Now we are lonely and more cognizent (sp) of it. This IS the disease trying to draw us back in ... "You feel bad? Oh, come on, just take a pilland it will all go away ..." TOTAL BS. HOWEVER, this does not make it any easier at the time! Jess
