Is it seizures when your body keeps twitching..

by SuzzQ, Nov 06, 2009 11:31PM
Does anyone know when coming off of norco, when your body keeps twitching.. I mean, parts of my body keep like twitching.. my muscles?  I am aching..  The counselor said to call 911 if I started feeling too weird... the pain I am used to, since the norco don't really work... I am so sick.. everything.. is bad... and I have still taken 3 1/2 pills today.. I am used to just taking one after another.. whenever I want.. I don't want a seizure...

Restless Leg Syndrome......my arms and back were jumpy too.  Muscles ached real bad.  I took alot of warm/hot baths.  That would help for awhile.

Doesn't sound like seizures, but sounds typical of the restless legs, twitchiness and aches associated with opiate withdrawal.  Seizures are followed by a lapse in consciousness and a foggy period (several hours).

Motrin may help.  Use high potassium foods and drinks and even magnesium.  (only time I wouldn't is if you had a kidney problem that was more advanced).

It will pass and you will get there.  Hold on with both hands.

Eat bananas........they are high in potassium.
