We are all different, and how our bodies react to our use is as well. I have been taking lortab (10/325) since Jan. Didn't get really bad until May. I was taking 15 at a time every 3 hours. Usually at least 60 pills a day. On Sept 27 I checked into detox. i had been having nausea and vomiting for several weeks, and began having pain in the area where the liver sits. I was so worried I had liver damage, or failure. I was no longer getting high, just worried about the withdrawls. My tylenol level was high when I checked in, but the following morning it was nearly undetectable. My liver enzymes.......completely normal. Dont use this as an excuse to continue using however, I consider myself VERY lucky. One more day and who knows? I am now on suboxone, and am so glad I'm not worrying about w/d. I will do a SLOW supervised taper. Whatever it takes to stay off the lortab, or percs! Good luck to ya
yeah a few weeks wont hurt anything :)
Ok I will. Would it be ok if I waited another week or two until I'm feeling a little more normal? This is a huge day for me............I haven't made it to day 4 since February. I have major anxiety but for the first time in months i'm feeling true emotion it's crazy. I'm also not sleeping but I guess that's what I get for screwing w/my body for this long. Thanks for the help :)
I think you are fine but have the doctor check your liver enzymes just for your pice of mind
I have been completely dependent on hydro's for about 9 months, and normally was taking around 6-10 7.5's a day, at it's worst I got up to about 15 a day. I do not drink at all though. I don't really have any symptoms that it's messed up I just feel guilt about it now that I'm thinking clear.
how much were you taking and for how long .do you drink as well.
Plenty of pains are quite normal for this time. Why do you think your liver is involved? Generally a lot of other symptoms involved that you would notice if your liver were involved. Malaise, lethargy, jaundice - plenty of them. If you are totally concerned have your Doc run a 35$ liver panel that will tell you whether enzymes are elevated or not.
'Fake' pains are very normal during w/d. You didn't say what you were taking and the amounts per dose and per day. 1000mg per dose and 4000mg per day of Tylenol is the maximum safe dose.
