ADDICTION: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMMUNITY
Is there such a thing?

Is there such a thing?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one. While discussing vicodin with my brother he was trying to tell me that his variety of drug which is lortab does not hurt your liver. Is this true? I think it's just his way of justifying his using this drug. Yes that has to be it since everybody knows that tylenol harms your liver. So,I want to know if anyone out there has done an intervention and how it turned out in the long run. I fear the worst here and I know I'm not the only one in the family that feels this way.

Vicodin and Lortab are the same if you look fro the numbers for the strength.  It will read something like 5/500 7.5/500 10/350  the first number is the vicoden the second number is th amount of Tylenol, If you chose an intervention you will need to go through a professional they can better guide you through the problem moments. Good luck on whatever you do.

Yes Lortab has acetaminophen, so it can be harmful to the liver. Your brother is kidding himself.
