Joined AA

My fiance is a crack addict who has three months of non using and then falls back into it. This has been going on for four years. drinking seems to be a trigger, and i have been part of that in the past, but won't be in the future. My question is about trust. I have very little left. Too many lies in the past. has anyone else managed to get a clean and healthy relationship under these circumstances? the non addict is a wonderful caring person, but seems to meet all the points of a histrionic personality.

If she continues to drink and use drugs, there is no way you can work your program around her. It will not be a healthy environment. She is going to have to admit she has a problem and get help.

The sad part about a relationship such is yours is that you will use with her before she will get clean with you.

Talk to your sponsor. And you don't have one, get one.
