Just a little jealous

I was jut expressing my jealousy.  I am relatively new to this site but since I started reading I am always soooooooo happy for the people who have been able to fight this nasty addiction and them come on and give their stroies and they are always so beautiful and tear jerking.  But a part of me is so jealous because I don't see my end to this.  Yes I do want to quit and the fact that I am pregnant should make me work harder towards stopping, you would think.  I am doing a taper now and hopefully I will fully overcome it, but I dont know why for some reason I just can't quite SEE it yet.  But just continue to pray for me and I will have my stories here one day about how I'm 9 days clean and 45 days clean and so forth and so on......I am still grateful to have people to share the info with.....But I'm still jealous of all of you that made it out of this :) CONGRATS!!!!!

hey, i remember that feeling too.  your story will come...if you stickk with the taper and keep moving forward one day at atime you can post your story of sobriety soon.  in the meantime keep posting it helps the day go by.  good luck and congrats on the baby.

I was in your shoes. I couldn't tell anyone out of fear. I had to get caught to get help. I did the Suboxone program for 9 months as well as AA meeting (to this day).
You can get help and if you need resources I'm sure we can find some for you. One day you'll look back and say WOW I have 2,3, or 4 years clean. You'll get there.

Oh, man do I remember feeling like that......So,  jealous.....I did it !!  Please continue that taper for yourself and the baby.....Please!

Congratulation on your pregnancy.The only suggestion i have is advise your physican of your situation and please get and protect the Life of that unborn baby.Its to late if your child is physicaal and mentally impaired as aresult of your behaviour.
