I'm not too surprised you are having WD symptoms...every system is different...you apparently are very sensitive to opiates.
You got some great suggestions already but here are a few more: There is something called Hylands Restless Legs....I found that to work better on me than the cal/mag/zinc (again every system is different).
For sleep I used Melatonin and Tylenol PM. I'm not saying I slept straight through but I did at least catch some good naps here and there....but I also was using a lot more and for a lot longer than you.
Come back here as much as you like and post...we'll be happy to support you while you are going through this. Reading others' posts also helps....
If you can't sleep don't just lay there...put on a good movie (comedies are great)....read a book, listen to some music...do some exercises :-)
Hi there- It's a little surprising that you're feeling so bad but it does happen. I'm sure working is terrible! UGH!
Be sure you're staying hydrated. Get some cal/mag/zinc supplement or just plain magnesium caps. That will help the RLS which can hang around. Hot baths with Epsom salts are unbelievably soothing so definitely try that for RLS. The Epsom contains magnesium which your muscles are craving...
Try an OTC sleep med. Alteril helps a lot of people. There's also an OTC called Hyland's Restfull Legs which Walmart and Walgreens sells.
I hope you get to feeling better; it should be soon. Be sure you're eating well enough and check back and let us know how you're doing-
