Just really trying...

Hi everyone,

Not sure that I have a question, but I just feel like I need to post.  I am on day 18.  I don't feel really excited about this though because I had to use the Suboxone to kick the Norco.  I use 4mg's of Sub per day and today the doc put down to 2mg.  My goal is 1 month and done.  I have aprox. 2 more weeks to go and I am scared. I feel like using the Sub is dishonest or something.  At first it felt great  to be free for the nors but now I just want freedom from all pills.  Even the melt aways!  Anyway, just felt like reaching out.  Not sure what I need right now.

hey i just joined today i have been a norcor user 4 3years off and on if i have them i will take 5or 6 at a time today i took my last 5 and tomorrow will suck but i am ready i just want my old life back too be happy without pills i understand the fear that is what keeps me taking them just know it will get better you just have to be strong and stay busy what are thoses melt aways your takeing?

Your days clean dont start till the sub stops. The sub is just a replacement drug. You will wd from the sub but if on short term it shouldnt be to bad. You need it more than 1 month tho. You need to taper it down lo before you jump ship. Otherweise you are in no better shape than ct of the norco. Dont get to impatient and do the sub properly otherwise detox can be really bad.
