Just want to let everyone know there is miracles

Hi, I have been a member on here for about 4 months, I quit using opiates and went back a couple times.... This last recent time has been the longest and I a, not even needing all the extra meds that usually come along with it. I thought I could only quit with suboxone, but turns out I am currently not even needing that. I feel so much better and have my life back.

I think when your body is tired and you don't want to do it anymore, you better yourself and have that strength to do anything. I keep myself busy and spend time with my daughter and that has helped me more than anything, I also enjoy reading success stories on here from everybody, it gives me a sense of positivity and faith.

Thank you Medhelp,

Tonya

Hi Tonya

Congratulations!  Thank you for posting...That's awesome that you are feeling positive and faith is the most important thing to hang on to....
Just curious-you said that you've been back and forth a couple of times with the opiates and I was wondering what was different this time?  Are you doing any form of aftercare?

Great job again...I hope you keep posting....Lu

Tonya:
I'm new to this...First time here detoxing from a Norco habit. At day six. I stopped for the exact reason you stated - my body and mind were tired of it. Planning everything around the pills - going to a movie, on a trip, visiting a friend, etc. I'd take a flight and keep the pills with me just in case the airline lost my luggage. I was tired, as you were, and am glad I stopped. Day six is great but hard. Please keep posting. I've been on here since day one and could not have made it through without the people on this site.
