I am starting sub tomm. at 9:30 AM.  I have been sober all day.  I am having the worst withdrawals.  Did SUB to go for you?  People think it's a substitute.  Is it?

Congratulations..I am very happy for you. Would you mind sharing how you were able to get off sub and how long it took..i was just telling someone that we don't see too many posts from people that are off it yet..did you have any w/ds?? thankyou for posting..I am sure there are many who would love some encouraging words about suboxone right now..thankyou and again congrats!!

I think so The wittthdrawl from regular opiattes is nothing compared to the wds from sub justt becarful what ever you decide to do. My wds from sub lasted almost two weeks and was like a bad acid trip im not triing to scare you just warn you. I tthink that was enough to keep me clean.Good Luck

I was going to a methadone clinic and was on 80mg a day.I decided that i did not want to take this stuff any more so I quit going cold turky. Needless to say I was so sick the worst withdrawls i have ever had. so I checked myself into a rehab and they put me on suboxone and it helped me. They said that I should go to a doctors office and start taking them daily. What do u think i should do?

I just wanted to let you know I sent you a "pm" with my story if it will help. If you take the suboxone road, it can be a bumpy ride. There are pros and cons so try to read as much about it as you can. For some it is the right choice and others not. Please let me know if I can help. Best Wishes

Hi ,
I think you should do your homework on the sub. It has w/ds also and can be severe. I was only on it for three months at a low dose. And it deffenetly helped me to get clean. Knowledge is power, read up on it,look at other post and stick around here. Theres alot of great people here with support. How long have you been taking now? And at what dose?
