KEEP BUSY!!!!!

KEEP BUSY!!!!!

IM on day 2 of being opiate free.   currently i am having slight body aches (legs mostly ache)intermittent chills.  I keep having moments of feeling pretty good, then body aches come back.  Those moments of feeling good tell me i must be getting better i hope.  anyway, im findng the best way to deal with this is the STAY BUSY..  get up move around, and force yourself to do things. On day 1, that evening i was feelin like total ****.  I said to myself, screw this, got up, put some warm clothes on, got my ipod, put on my favoite music, went outside and started running as fast as i could.  Got out of breath, recoverd and started doing it again. I sprinted as far as i could at least 10 times in a row.  Went to sleep last night, slept decent with OTC sleep aids.  Felt like **** again today, but as the day went on, i started feeling better.  Started feeling bad again this evening.  so I got up and did the same thing i did last night. And let me tell you its helps BIGTIME.. I know its hard as hell to get up and goin and some have worse WD's than other, but as soon as you have even a little spark of energy, exert it.  Right then, dont wait.  IM not saying go out and run like a madman like i did,  but let me tell you, it is mentally and physically therapeutic.  Its not the cure, because i still feel the WD's now.  Not that bad though.  Maybe im crazy, but this seems to be working some. Im anticipating a better day tomorrow.Take care everyone.

haha,  i wish i could have seen my self.  people were probably looking out their windows like, "Why is our neighbor running around the neighborhood like a crazy person?"  Ill probably try it again tomorrow.  But right now, i cant sleep.  Tried to, tossing and turning.  Wife told me to get out of bed.

OMG..how many times I have been asked to leave the bed...LOL the rls will get them every time. Do you have a favorite comfy chair? If so, try to relax in it with a heating pad under your calves..it works wonders! Oh, and good advise,,,the tea works wonders also!!
