Kicking old friends!

by marriedtoit, Sep 02, 2008 06:29PM
Today is day 4 for my hubby. He went to work today. Called and said he is super duper tired and doesnt have any energy to get anything done--or the concentration to remember what needs to be done. Luckily, he's self employed so no one is scrutinizing his every move. I know he will get through this. Doing great otherwise.

Heres my question--hydro's didnt always come from a doctor, and birds of a feather flock together. How do we ==uhh does HE make these unsupportive "friends" go away. He wanted to quit before now, but he said people always drop by with "extra". Some really were friends--but when you keep pushing something in his face that he says he is trying to quit--just what kind of @#$%@&* friend is that!!! sorry , I digress. How do you unfriend someone without making them feel you are judging?

I explained to a couple of my former friends that i just couldnt be around them as this was important to me.  I had to stay away as it was to tempting and my willpower was not good.  One called me a party pooper and i just said i wished her well.  I havent seen her for months now except for her name in the paper.  His true friends will surface thru all of this.  I found out who my real friends were and that was okay.          sara

This is the way I see it.  Maybe I'm different, but I didn't share.  I was an addict and needed my supply.

I feel that if any one shared w/me then their problem may have not been as bad.

OR, is hubby buying from them?  Or were they really generous?  Pills can be hard to come by.

back when i using a friend of mine found out and was wanting me to quit. and made some threats to people he knew were selling to me and word got around quick and everyone was like we cannot give you anything, not getting our butts kicked.

hey, if you know who these friends are have some words with them. he is your husband- your other half and they are doing it to you too then.
