Kinda confused about the 4th step in the 12 steps

I started the 12 steps with my counselor today and I'm looking over them now. Can ne1 explain the 4th step to me ? It's ... "made a searching  and fearless moral inventory of ourselves"  can ne1 give me examples?

ang I dont go to na so. I don't know for sure but I think its better instead of wondering about step four just work one at a time ..I think as you go you will understand there meanings better. However being that I don't go there will be someone that does so I would go by what they say

You should not be worrying about the fourth step now. If you can do the first three steps for the first year that is great. So many people do what you are doing, become overwhelmed and walk away. Newly clean you cannot possibly be ready to take an inventory--you have not given yourself the chance to get to know who YOU are. Take it slow. If you play your cards right you will be working the steps for the rest of your life so take baby steps.

I was finished with my first go round with the steps at 10 months but its all done on a case by case thing. You should really have a sponsor in the program who can guide you through the steps though, have you got a sponsor yet?
