I am glad to hear that you recognize you have a problem. No shame in that honey. So you know what you have to do..get back on that horse and keep riding. It will all work out as long as you don't use.
Yes ibkleen, I do want to get off drugs. Been clean offn OC's for a lil over five years now...somewhere along the line I strayed from my sobriety to adderall with the belief that it was 'beneficial' to myself (doing better in school). Of course kpins came along to help me sleep. I hate the side effects. Once an addict always an addict. Idk y I thought that rule didn't apply to me. I'm just trying to get am education. I needa go back to a meetin
Well my friend you've already taken the 4 mgs. -- that's quite a bit. You've prepared for this exam right? I mean you're not totally cramming? If you're not cramming. I'd go to sleep now & get up later & study or sleep through, get up & go sit it. I agree that you won't retain much right now.
Listen, I know you're not interested in hearing this right now but there are non-drug alternatives to approaching ADD. The two drugs you're on are rough on your neural chemistry, mood & sleep & their effects become less & less pleasant when tolerance builds. Please, come back here after your exam, my friend & good luck.
Thanks for the support and ur comment. I'm in school, prescribed adderall for my add. But when I take adderall, even in the morning I can't sleep. To compensate for this I take kpins to fall asleep. The reason I took them today is bc I had to do a huge presentation, and I hate pub speaking. I just don't know if it's even worth studying right now bc I kno the material I review won't actually stay put in my hippocampus. ANY advice?
Ps I kno I needa ditch the prescriptions, but as of now I'm concerned about my exam tomorrow
I apologize, you said anterograde not retrograde. If this is happening to you, you really want to stop the pins. It only gets worse!
Why would you take a benzo if you have a test tomorrow & you believe it causes retrograde amnesia? (which it doesn't really -- see link below). If you'd like to stop the pins, we're here for you. :
