The first time I walked into a N/A meeting I was so apprehensive and as I looked
around I thought I don't belong here I'm not like these nut jobs.........
As I turned to leave someone came up and introduced there selve to me and said please
come and join us.......
He went out of his way for me and I joined the meeting and as I talked to a few people I
started to feel better being threre......
As I listened to others speak and share so many of there experiences were exactly like
mine......
the next time I went a few more people came up to me and said hello and then a few more
the meeting was well organized..
there was no pressure on me at all and now that N/A meeting is my homegroup.....
Just give it a try and if that meeting is uncomfortable maybe its to old of a crowd or to
young.......or you just don't feel good there try another one but while your at that first meeting
there is an infomation table with all kinds of literature which includes an N/A meeting and schedule
book that is free so you can do some research and find another meeting hell they even list gay meetings if that is your bag.......give it a try and remember bad things can happen to some really good people and you just might make some friends.........
good luck to ya
its going to be a tough few days but you can get your life back.
Keep your head up make it through today and then veg out for the weekend!!
Hugz
Luck to ya...Lisa
