Hey girl, I'm home now.  I hope I passed the final.  I wasn't very prepared but oh well...  When I went off the oxys, my legs flopped around at night for a while.  It eventually goes away.  But because I have nerve pain because of the accident, my legs would hurt so bad too.  So I take Arthritis Tylenol and rub my legs down with Aspercream.  Seems to help.  I also heard about that Restless Leg stuff but never tried it.
I am very, very proud of you!  I know you can do this and you will survive!
Love,
Yoda

The fact that your legs move around, and twitch?,  makes me wonder what the answer is too.  I'm just off morphine-I'm doing day 4-and that's been the worst part of the night-as soon as I lay down and start relaxing, my legs start jumping.  My doc says that maybe it's the nerves beginning to give messages again after the injury.  I had disk repair on L4L5. (I don't think I believe his conclusion).  I've read that iron deficiency causes restless legs too.  Mostly I think it has everything to do with my not taking morphine anymore, which I took for 5 months straight, max 240 mg/24 hours.  I think Duchess Golden, might have more information about that-she a doc. that knows the stuff that's real-not just what they say in the doc office.  My doc's only idea is to take Ativan, which I don't want to do for very long-no more withdrawal from anything anymore.
I've heard more people complaining about this but it could be pages down the system already and needs to be pulled up to current reading.  I'd like other's ideas on this too.
