Liver and Kidney Damage

I have been reading quite a few of the posts about codiene. My drug of choice :)
I haven't had any in a few days - Went through that on another thread. My question is about what the tylenol is doing to my organs. I haven't seen anyone post on this issue. Would love to hear from anyone about symptoms and damaged caused by Vicodin. Thanks.How can you tell if it's shutting you down?

It depleates the glutathione in The liver. The liver, perhaps suffers the worst by Acetaminophen overdose. Cirrhosis is one of the major diseases it causes in the liver. You can find an abundance of info by google searching Acetaminophen overdose. For the average healthy adult, the recommended maximum dose of acetaminophen over a 24 hour period is four grams (4000 mg) just In case you dont know; for example a Vicotin 10/325 tablet. The 325 represents 325mg Acetaminophen.

You were talking about Codiene though, sorry. Tylenol with codiene tabs are 300mg Acetaminophen

please stop while ur ahead. cause when codine dont work anymore, then its hydro(vicodin) then oxy(percocet,oxycontin), then its fentynal(durgesic patch, actiq pop), eventually its heroin if ur an addict. and u loose ur life in the process, its a full time job

Thanks for our responses. I am taking Vicodin - or have been. I haven't had anything since Friday!!! It's Monday AM - 7:30.
