Looking for advice

I have been taking 10mg percs for about 3 years now on average 10-14 pr day. Just last week on Wednesday I started to detox off them. I'm now taking 1/2 of a 5mg tab every 5 to 6 hours when I just can't deal anymore with the leg pain. Is there anything that I can do to stop the leg pain?? I think I already have been through the worst as far as the pain goes. I just want to know if there is anything that I can do to help with the leg pain? Anyhelp is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
alldonepercs

Nope, did not even know it was on...LOL

Hi hun...the rls is a symptom of withdrawal. It will go away, you just have to be patient. In the meantime, you can take hot baths which will help and also try putting a heating pad on your calves. That did help me.

Trust me, you did the right thing and it will soon be over.

Hope to see you post again.

Eat bananas too. That helps replace potassium. The hot baths are great. I like Epsom salts in the water to replace magnesium back into the leg muscles. It works. Now this next point is way out there....put a bar or two of soap under the sheets by your legs. I have read where this works. What do you have to lose?
