ADDICTION: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMMUNITY
Loritab 7.5

Loritab 7.5

I have picked up a habit of taking two 7.5/500 Loritabs only on Saturday night.  Don't ask me why, but for some reason I have taken them Friday and Saturday nights.  Never thorugh the week.  Don't even think about them, but I do love them on Friday & Sat nignt.  Is this a serious addiction problem.  Would it be much trouble to go cold turkey?

Hi!  Well...you made that sound almost cute!!  To me anyway...  :)

I think,to answer your question, that if you love a pill that's addicting like this, and you take it for fun,as you are,and you're very consistent...it's a problem. May not be a huge one but it's a little one. Others will post to you I'm sure and I want to read what they say...The thing is; You could do this for awhile and not think about it. Then, out of no where you WILL think about it and you'll take one on Wednesday and then Thursday morning...and then it's out of your hands...

Physically,if you're in good health and you maybe let a doctor in on this, I doubt you'll have a problem going cold turkey right now. Mentally is another story,my friend.  Because you LOVE it. I'm not judging here at all...but it's hard to let go of anything we love...

I agree with both posters.....I started out very similarly but how quickly this disease can grab you!  Getting off of them now will be easy and my recommendation is to not play with fire because you are literally rolling the dice.  Stick around a little bit and read what people with bigger problems with this drug are going through.  Read the ones from Day 1 through Day 6 or 7.  Read how desperate and miserable they are feeling.  The thoughts of hopelessness and dispare with no end in immediate site.  This is what you have to look forward to if you slip up and let this addiction snag you!  So, I pick cold turkey and never look back!

Once you start building that tolerance, it is difficult to chase after that high......Addiction!
